The thinking behind our Fun Days…
So many of our adult patients have told us that their negative experiences at the dentist during childhood shaped how they feel about the dentist today. So we were determined to turn this around! We want the kids who visit us today to grow into adults who have a positive outlook regarding dentistry and who have complete trust in their dentist. This is what motivated us to launch our first Fun Day back in 2006…little did we know that it would be such a runaway success!
How our Fun Days work…
Our Fun Days are ‘Kids Only’ zones! The Fun Days fall within standard school holiday times- Easter, Summer, Hallowe’en and Christmas and these days are dedicated solely to seeing our younger patients. We know that kids don’t want to read a magazine or watch the news while waiting to see the dentist- that’s why we have crafts, games, competitions and a classic kids movie playing on our big screen! There are always snacks on offer too-tooth kind ones of course! But the fun doesn’t end there! After seeing the dentist everyone receives a helium filled balloon and party bag!
